UPTET Exam Pattern 2026: Overview
UPTET में दो papers होते हैं। Paper 1 उन candidates के लिए है जो Classes 1 से 5 तक पढ़ाने की eligibility चाहते हैं। Paper 2 Classes 6 से 8 तक पढ़ाने की eligibility के लिए है। दोनों papers का question pattern अलग-अलग subjects में बँटा होता है, लेकिन total marks और duration समान हैं।

UPTET Paper 1 Exam Pattern 2026
Paper 1 • Classes 1–5UPTET Paper 1 Primary Level (Classes 1–5) के लिए होता है। इसमें पाँच compulsory subject sections होते हैं। प्रत्येक section से 30 questions पूछे जाते हैं और हर question 1 mark का होता है। इस प्रकार Paper 1 में कुल 150 questions और 150 marks होते हैं।

बाल विकास, learning process और teaching-related concepts की तैयारी करें।

UPTET Paper 2 Exam Pattern 2026
Paper 2 • Classes 6–8UPTET Paper 2 Upper Primary Level यानी Classes 6–8 के लिए होता है। इसमें तीन compulsory sections में 30-30 questions होते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त Mathematics and Science या Social Studies/Social Science का 60-mark subject group होता है। 2026 booklet में अन्य eligible teaching categories के लिए भी निर्धारित subject-group selection का प्रावधान दिया गया है।

Paper 2 का 60 marks वाला section कैसे समझें?
Maths/Science teaching से संबंधित candidates के लिए relevant subject group है।
Social Studies या Social Science teaching से संबंधित candidates के लिए relevant group है।
जिस category के लिए booklet विकल्प देता है, उसे चुनने से पहले official instructions check करें।
ध्यान रखें कि Paper 2 में 60-mark वाला group अन्य तीन compulsory sections की जगह नहीं लेता। Paper 2 का total 150 marks ही रहता है।
UPTET Negative Marking 2026
UPTET 2026 में Paper 1 और Paper 2 दोनों के लिए negative marking नहीं थी। हर सही उत्तर पर 1 mark मिलता है। गलत उत्तर देने या किसी question को छोड़ने पर उस question के लिए कोई marks नहीं मिलते, लेकिन negative marks भी नहीं काटे जाते।

Preparation tip: पहले वे questions solve करें जिनका उत्तर आपको confidently आता है। इसके बाद doubtful questions पर वापस आएँ। चूँकि 2026 pattern में negative marking नहीं थी, इसलिए समय बचने पर बचे हुए questions को समझदारी से attempt करना उपयोगी हो सकता है। अगले cycle में marking scheme बदलने की स्थिति में नई notification को प्राथमिकता दें।
UPTET Exam Duration 2026: कितना समय मिलता है?
Paper 1 और Paper 2, दोनों के लिए 150 minutes यानी 2 hours 30 minutes निर्धारित थे। प्रत्येक paper में 150 questions होने के कारण average समय लगभग एक minute per question बनता है। यह औसत है, आधिकारिक subject-wise time limit नहीं।
Time Management Strategy
ये preparation suggestions हैं, official time allocation नहीं। परीक्षा में किसी section के लिए अलग time limit हो तो वही लागू होगी।
UPTET Qualifying Marks 2026
Exam pattern और qualifying criteria दो अलग चीजें हैं। सामान्य qualifying benchmark के अनुसार Unreserved category के लिए 60% यानी 150 में 90 marks का स्तर बताया जाता है। संबंधित reserved categories के लिए notification में निर्धारित relaxation लागू हो सकता है; 55% का गणितीय मान 150 में 82.5 marks होता है। Category-wise पात्रता और qualifying status के लिए official notification तथा candidate scorecard को ही अंतिम आधार मानें।
Important: UPTET एक Teacher Eligibility Test है। इसे qualify करने का अर्थ यह नहीं है कि candidate को सीधे teaching job मिल जाएगी। नियुक्ति के लिए संबंधित recruitment notification, eligibility conditions और selection process अलग से लागू होते हैं।
